Andy Dodd
Andy Dodd has over 9 years' private equity experience. He joined Coopers and Lybrand in 1995 and qualified as a chartered accountant in 1998. He joined KPMG Corporate Finance in 1998 working principally in deal origination and advising on a wide range of private equity transactions. Andy joined Dow Schofield Watts from KPMG in May 2003.
James Dow
James Dow has over 17 years' private equity experience. He joined KPMG in 1982, qualifying as a chartered accountant in 1985. In 1990 he joined the KPMG Corporate Finance team. He was appointed as a KPMG partner in 1996 and in 2000 was appointed in charge of the North West region of KPMG’s corporate finance business. As a partner in the corporate finance business, James had specific responsibility for deal origination and marketing. James left KPMG Corporate Finance in 2002 to establish Dow Schofield Watts. James Dow is also the joint author of Private Equity: Law and Practice.

Frank Herlihy
Frank Herlihy has over 13 years' private equity experience and joined Dow Schofield Watts in 2004. Prior to this Frank had worked in KPMG’s Corporate Finance team since 1996 and was the Corporate Finance partner in charge of Private Equity in the North of England from 2002 until his departure. Frank has also worked for Grant Thornton Corporate Finance and CFSB as well as having qualified as a chartered accountant.
Philip Price
Philip Price has over 10 years’ private equity experience. He joined KPMG in 1993, qualifying in 1996. Following a short secondment to KPMG Perth, Western Australia, he joined KPMG Corporate Finance in 1997 in Liverpool and moved to KPMG Corporate Finance, Manchester in 2000. At KPMG he advised on a wide range of M&A and Private Equity transactions. Philip joined Dow Schofield Watts in June 2003.

Jon Schofield
Jon Schofield has over 13 years' private equity experience. He joined KPMG in 1982, qualified as a chartered accountant in 1985 and joined KPMG Corporate Finance in 1990. In 1994 Jon joined England Worthside Limited, a 3i backed buy-out as Finance Director and became a partner in Grant Thornton in 1995 where he headed up the North of England Transaction Services Team. In 1999, Jon joined Cammell Laird Holdings plc as Finance Director and in November 2000 he was appointed Acting Chief Executive. Post Cammell Laird, Jon acted as a company consultant before founding Dow Schofield Watts.
Craig Richardson
Craig has over 14 years experience advising SME’s in M&A, including private equity experience. He joined KPMG Corporate Finance in 1996 after spending three years undertaking due diligence post qualifying as a chartered accountant with KPMG in 1992. Craig Richardson joined Dow Schofield Watts in May 2006 after spending two years at a provincial accountancy firm establishing a corporate advisory business.
Mark Watts
Mark Watts has over 15 years' private equity experience. He joined KPMG, qualifying as a chartered accountant in 1991 and transferring to corporate finance in 1992. Mark spent eighteen months on secondment with NatWest Ventures, prior to joining Hill Samuel Bank in 1995. Mark subsequently joined Old Mutual Securities where he was a corporate finance director advising on “public to privates”, AIM listings and private equity transactions. Mark left Old Mutual Securities in 2002 to co-found Dow Schofield Watts.
